idmypet.com uses Paypal exclusively for all billing. Once you decide to purchase an idmypet.com ID device, and you click on the "Buy Now" button on our purchase page, you are forwarded directly to Paypal where the remainder of your transaction takes place. It is not necessary to have a Paypal account to purchase from idmypet.com, you simply proceed with your transaction as a Paypal "Guest". Once at the Paypal website you will be asked for specific information, including your name, address, email address and credit card number. This information is required in order to complete your transaction. Upon approval, the order is immediately sent to idmypet.com where it is filled then shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Paypal has become the leader in online payments and billing for online stores for a variety of reasons. Particularly, Paypal's encryption method of your personal information is among the safest and most effective in the world. When you provide your information via Paypal you can rest assured that the data is safe from fraud and potential abuse. Since the data is encrypted in a proprietary fashion by Paypal before it travels from your computer, through the world wide web, and back to Paypal, only Paypal's computer servers have the ability to decipher and use the data for the purpose intended. idmypet.com does not employ the tactic of auto billing or automatic renewal when a purchase is made from our website. idmypet.com understands that circumstances are dynamic and can change often. So, instead of automatically billing your credit card after the first year, idmypet.com will send you an email reminder indicating that your subsciption to our service is about to expire. At this time you will be able to decide for yourself if you'd like to continue our service at a little over .02 cents a day. If you feel the service is worth this minimal cost you will need to log into our renewal page and renew your subscription with idmypet.com. It is very important to remember that, because we choose not to use automatic rebilling, you provide idmypet.com with an email address that will be valid one year from the date of purchase. Keeping and using the same email address for all your important online transactions will ensure you never have a lapse in service. The renewal cost for both services we provide is .79 cents per month. We bill this amount annually for a total of $9.48 per device (nine dollars and forty-eight cents) per year. You will never be billed more than $9.48 per device when renewing your service with idmypet.com unless you allow your service to expire for more than 30 days. If you allow the service to expire our system will automatically delete all your information on day 31. If you wish to renew the subscription after the files have been deleted a $5.00 reinstatement fee shall apply. This is simply because a staff member at idmypet.com will have to manually rebuild your database files, manually reactivate your pet's ID number and manually recreate your account in our system.

idmypet.com does not keep, store or archive your credit card information in any way. As a matter of fact the only information we receive when you place an order is your name, address, email address and the last four digits of your credit card for reference purposes. The remainder of the credit card number is not available to idmypet.com and we never see it. Only Paypal has access to your credit card number and, due to it's proprietary encryption methods, your credit card information is always safe and secure.
